Client: Estate Media | YouTube Content
The Challenge:
Estate Media came to us with concepts already semi-established. They looked to Take2Content to flesh out these concepts out a bit further, add a little more humor, and ultimately pick up the camera and make it happen. Since we had worked with Amanda many times, we knew her comedic style and felt comfortable tailoring the video scripts to her strengths. We were familiar with Josh Flagg (and his dry sense of humor) from his work on Million Dollar Listing, but we had never worked with him before. We planned to create the comedy by playing off the tension between Amanda’s big, outlandish character and Josh’s dry whit.
The Solution:
We took the existing outlines and punched them up, adding that Take2 comedic flare. We also pre-viewed the location and developed a shot-list that maximized both the home and the humor. Scheduling conflicts emerged, as they often do, but we were able to pivot on the fly and incorporate reality-style confessionals. The confessionals allowed us to beef up our content and create multiple videos from the footage we shot… despite the time constraints.
The Impact:
Our Josh and Amanda videos have become favorites among both subscribers and staff—backed up by some pretty impressive view counts. We've continued collaborating with Estate on their comedy-forward concepts, helping bring their unique voice to life across multiple campaigns.
